Beatles legend Ringo Starr recently released a new single, "February Sky," from his upcoming solo EP, Crooked Boy.
Crooked Boy is due out on limited-edition marble vinyl on April 20 for Record Store Day.
A visual shared along with the song features some never-before-seen clips from Ringo's archives. The video has scenes of stormy skies, swaying palm trees, seagulls flying overhead, a churning ocean, and more.
"Gonna stand up rise above the rain," Ringo sings on the track. "Start a revolution in these brighter days/ Found the missing pieces/ That were vacant to the eye/ Well I had enough of February sky."
Linda Perry wrote and produced Crooked Boy.
"Linda made me a great EP - she produced it in her studio and then sent me the tracks and I added the drumming and my vocals," Ringo said in a statement. "'February Sky' is great - very moody - but since Linda wrote these specifically for me it of course has to have a positive peace & love element."

Chris Stapleton joined Guns 'N' Roses guitarist Slash for a cover version of Fleetwood Mac's 1969 hit "Oh Well." The cover will feature on Slash's upcoming blues album, Orgy of the Damned.
"I knew from the beginning I wanted to do ['Oh Well'] on this record," Slash said in a statement. "It was also one of the songs that I was trying to figure out who would be the right vocalist for it, and one of the ideas I had was Chris Stapleton, who is one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters today. He's also got such a gritty and distinctive voice, so I called him up and he did an amazing job. I mean, his voice is so cool."
The 12-track Orgy of the Damned, which is Slash's sixth solo album, is due out on May 17 via Gibson Records.
