Lindsey Buckingham To Release '20th Century Lindsey' Box Set

This summer, Rhino is releasing a new vinyl box set featuring Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham's first three solo albums alongside a selection of bonus tracks.

20th Century Lindsey will be available on June 14 digitally as well as a 4-LP set exclusively sold on Rhino.com & LindseyBuckingham.com

A 4-CD set will be released in August.

The set includes the studio albums Law and Order (1981), Go Insane (1984), and Out of the Cradle (1992), all featuring audio remastered in 2017 from the original master tapes.

Those records are joined by 20th Century Rarities, an eight-song compilation of non-album tracks containing hard-to-find mixes and soundtrack contributions, like "Time Bomb Town" (Back to the Future, 1985) and "Twisted" - his duet with Stevie Nicks (Twister, 1996).

"Slow Dancing" (Extended Version) from the 20th Century Rarities set is available digitally. Previously only released in Europe as a 12" Single in 1984, the song makes its streaming debut nearly 40 years after its original release. The song can be heard at https://lbuckingham.lnk.to/SD2024

20th Century Lindsey explores Buckingham's distinctive songwriting, intricate guitar work, and innovative production across dozens of tracks, including stellar songs like Wrong," "Countdown," and the Top 10 smash "Trouble" - with Fleetwood Mac bandmate and drummer Mick Fleetwood.

New A&E 'Biography' Specials To Celebrate Rock Legends

A&E has announced new "Biography" specials offering viewers a backstage pass to the celebrated careers of some of hard rock's greatest legends - Bret Michaels, Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, and Sebastian Bach.

Produced by Banger Films in association with A+E Factual Studios, the specials will feature exclusive interviews with the artists and those closest to them.

Beginning June 16 at 9pm ET, the nostalgia inducing specials will go behind-the-scenes to the artists' journeys to fame, legendary careers, and iconic music that defined the genre then and now.

"Biography: Bret Michaels" kicks off the series, chronicling how a boy from small-town Pennsylvania and Type-1 Diabetic became a pop culture icon, philanthropist, and one of the most recognizable faces in America.

Premiering June 23 at 9 pm ET, "Biography: Dee Snider" shares the untold story of how Snider went from a high school choir boy to one of the most recognized faces in hard rock.

Premiering June 23 at 10 pm ET, "Biography: Alice Cooper" explores the highs and lows of an incredible journey and genre defining artist. Shock rock, hard rock, amazing rock - Alice Cooper and his pioneering group have been described as the founders of it all.

Premiering June 30 at 9 pm ET, "Biography: Sammy Hagar" traces Hagar's path to fame, beginning as a poverty-stricken child, to the lead singer of the band Montrose, to launching a successful solo career, and ultimately joining Van Halen.

Premiering June 30 at 10 pm ET, "Biography: Sebastian Bach" outlines how a small-town kid from Canada became the ultimate bad boy of hard rock.

According to the announcement, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will perform six shows in Canada this fall. On October 8th, they will perform at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. The final show will take place at TD Station in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The 2024 Tour follows the band's 50th Anniversary Tour, which saw Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, and John McFee coming together for the first time in over 25 years.

The decision to add a Canadian leg to the tour has been made by The Doobie Brothers due to overwhelming demand from fans after an incredibly successful leg in Canada last year.
