BUSINESS MANAGER

Hall Communications in Providence, RI is seeking a part-time Business Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proficient with accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Excel)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, extremely organized

TASKS:

  • Preparation of daily deposits
  • Accounts Receivable – which includes cash receipt posting, broadcast & calendar billings, co-op & month end reports
  • Review and manage collection of Accounts Receivable over 120 days outstanding
  • Accounts Payable – entering all bills & processing checks
  • Research and resolve issues with customers and/or vendors
  • Answer questions for Account Executives regarding invoicing and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain Petty Cash
  • Payroll Data Entry & Monthly Commissions Calculation
  • EEO Reports for States – Quarterly and Yearly
  • Medical Insurance forms
  • New Hire packets
  • Eastman Billing & Check Back Ups
  • Manage local bank accounts & prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Credit card processing
  • Year End 1099’s preparation for prize winners & vendors
  • Answer phones & wait on prize winners when needed
  • Track vacation & sick days on Employees
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
  • Work with CFO on cash management and monthly Financial reporting
  • Other tasks as assigned

SOFTWARE USED:

  • QuickBooks – General Ledger, AP Bill paying
  • Marketron – Accounts Receivable, Billing, Traffic
  • Excel, Word, Outlook
